I'm finding that "hack" is pretty much a synonym for "mom."
Noun 1. hack - one who works hard at boring tasks. a. unskilled person - a person who lacks technical training. b. plodder, slogger - someone who works slowly and monotonously for long hours. Verb 2. hack - be able to manage or manage successfully; "I can't hack it anymore"; "she could not cut the long days in the office." 6. hack - fix a computer program piecemeal until it works; "I'm not very good at hacking but I'll give it my best."
